Knives and the Airport?
Hi all. I currently live in San Francisco, CA, and I’m gonna be leaving to Pennsylvania soon and with some family, we’re gonna go do some stuff up over there, including going into forested areas. For camping or anything nature related, I always take along my KABAR Tanto knife with me. It’s big, I know, and I don’t intend to take it onboard with me, because i’m pretty sure the TSA would tackle me to the ground. More like, could I take it with me as long as I stuff it in my luggage? ALong with that, I also have a small KABAR Mule folding knife that I take with me EVERYWHERE I go. Could I take that on board or would i have to stuff it in my luggage? I don’t intend to use it even if I could take it on board, but I was just curious about that one
thanks all. thanks for clearing it up. I’ll just place it in my luggage then (not my carry on luggage, but the one that gets thrown in with the other people’s luggages).
Too be 100% safe leave them at home. You can get in trouble carrying that big of knife even after you get in Pennsylvania.
